May is Mental Health Awareness Month

Did you know that 1 in 5 U.S. adults experience mental illness each year? May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and Mas Imaging Portable Radiology wants to remind you that no matter what you’re experiencing, you are more than enough and there is a network of support systems available to help you.

We understand that whether you or your loved ones are experiencing dementia, Alzheimer’s, PTSD, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia or something else, sometimes it can be difficult to get out of bed, leave the house, drive a car, be around crowds or stay within a daily routine. Creating a safe and stable environment takes priority, and sometimes that means much needed medical appointments or radiology screenings fall secondary to optimizing your space and schedule.

Mas Imaging Portable Radiology can provide the flexibility and safety you may need at this time, while also offering hospital-quality radiology services, so that your physical health doesn’t suffer while you work to improve your mental health. This includes ultrasounds, x-rays, EKGs, echocardiograms and doppler studies.

We will meet you at your private home/residence, or anywhere that makes you feel comfortable and safe. You don’t even have to leave your bed or couch if you’re unable to. And appointments are available 24/7, 365 days a year in order to accommodate everyone’s personal needs. To ease financial concerns, we are in network with Medicare, Medicaid, Fidelis & Humana and take most secondary insurances as well. Both male and female technologists are available, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your preference.

How does it work?

Step 1: Test is ordered - Either your healthcare provider will order the test with us directly, or they will provide you with an order form.

Step 2: Appointment is scheduled - If we receive an order from your healthcare provider, we'll contact you to schedule your appointment on a day/time that's convenient for you. You'll be given a two-hour arrival window for the technologist. Same-day or "stat" appointments are available.

Step 3: Technologist is dispatched - Our certified, professional technologists will arrive at your location within the two-hour window, and will use all safety precautions to perform your exam within the comfort of your environment.

Step 4: Reports are provided - Your healthcare provider will receive your report, either via our online portal, fax or CD. Reports are generally available between 30 minutes to a few hours, but always within 24 hours of your test completion.

We believe in straightforward, simple professionalism, and aim to make your entire experience as convenient and comfortable as possible, while providing you with the level of care you deserve.
